The other day I was out on a walk with Easton listening to my ipod when I heard the song Godspeed by Dixie Chicks, which is playing on my blog. I posted that song because ever since then I have been singing the song to Easton every night as part of our bedtime ritual. On my walk I began to cry just thinking of my little man.

It must be a mom thing - I didn't used to be nearly so emotional with music as I am now. Thanks for the SuperBowl invite, we'd love to come but we already have plans. We'll have to do something soon though... maybe a movie or game night or something.
That is such a sweet song. I love to listen to music that makes me think of being a mom and my sweet little girl. Soon I might be crying to this same song with my little guy.
